SFTP connection
Under the FTP settings in the form designer, an FTP or SFTP connection can be set up for a form template. Directly after a form is sent, the generated export files (PDF and/or Word) are automatically saved on your server. In addition, all form data can be continuously synchronised as an XLSX table – ideal for further processing in your own systems.
The following options are available:
Sent PDFs: PDFs sent by email are automatically saved on your FTP/SFTP server.
XLSX synchronisation: An XLSX table is created for each selected status (In progress, Sent, Deleted), in which all form data – including previous entries – is continuously synchronised.
To test the connection, click “Test and Save”. Formtastic will upload a test file formtastic.txt to your server – so you can immediately verify that the connection is working.
