How many languages can a form have?
As many as you need. Add each language in the form designer under “Template language”.
Who translates the forms?
You enter the translations for the template title, field names and selection options yourself, so your team sees the terms they know. Or let the AI assistant create the translations for you by chat with ChatGPT or Claude.
How does an employee choose their language?
They switch to their language when filling in the form in the app or in the browser. Their device language is pre-selected automatically.
Which language does the finished document arrive in?
Your company language, whichever language was used to fill in the form. Your Word export template defines the layout; the PDF or Word file is emailed automatically to the recipients you choose. The bundled Excel export also comes in your language.
Can we translate existing templates later?
Yes. Add more languages to an existing template and enter the translations. Step-by-step help is in the “Template language” documentation.
Are the templates free, and what does Formtastic cost after the trial?
