Formtastic Documentation
Once a form template has been created in the Form Designer, you are ready to go – either via the web interface or the free Formtastic app (App Store · Google Play).
Via the web interface
Click "Create form" on the overview page and select your template. Fill in the fields and then click:
- Save – the form is placed in the "In work" folder and can be edited further or assigned to another user at any time.
- Send – completes the form and triggers the process defined in the template (PDF/Word export, email, SFTP upload, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Webhook).
Via the mobile app (Android & iOS)
Open the Formtastic app and tap "Create form". Select your template and fill out the form. Then tap:
- Save – saves the form to the "In work" folder for further editing at any time.
- Send – completes the form and triggers the sending process (PDF/Word export, email, SFTP upload, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Webhook).
- Assign (Team & Enterprise only) – passes the form to another user for further processing. It will appear in your "Assigned" folder and in the recipient's "Inbox".
